Kids in Kampzsupports the educational and welfare needs of vulnerable children in camps along the Thai/Burmese borders. It helps children who are displaced by having their villages burned down and who have witnessed their families suffer at the hands of a brutal regime. Kids like those in the Nupo Camp, where 18,000 displaced people live. Many of the mothers there are little more than children themselves so Kidz and Campz is building a Mother and Baby centre to provide the special care they need. Or kids like Saw Poe Leh (above) who has dietary anaemia.
Kids in Kampz is a small community charity based in Holt Park in Leeds where it runs a charity shop which can be contacted on 0113 267 6800.
